The Goodwin Games - Broda - 11.02.2012
Fox hat von "The Goodwin Games" in letzter Minute doch noch eine Pilotfolge bestellt. "The Goodwin Games" ist eine Comedyserie von Carter Bays, Craig Thomas und Chris Harris. Die Hauptrolle soll Becki Newton spielen.

war das nicht in der 5. staffel auch so, dass cc nebenbei nen pilotfilm konzipert haben? viele meinen ja, die staffel habe drunter gelitten (ich fand sie doch ganz gut) und machen sich jetzt wirkliche sorgen. aber eigentlich sollte das doch becki newton aka quinn als braut ausschließen, oder?

Es ist ja durchaus üblich, dass Produzenten mehrere Shows gleichzeitig betreuen. Chuck Lorre macht beispielsweise gerade 3 Serien (Two and a half men, Big Bang Theory, Mike&Molly) gleichzeitig. Auch Josh Schwartz hat jahrelang 2 Shows (Chuck & Gossip Girl) gleichzeitig gemacht.
Kann mir nicht wirklich vorstellen, dass darunter die Qualität der Staffel leiden wird. Die anderen Autoren sind durchaus fähig gescheite Folgen zu schreiben und das grobe Konzept steht ja auch schon.
Bitte hier keine Spoiler-Diskussionen, will diesen Thread nicht auch noch in den Spoiler-Bereich verschieben müssen.

In zwei Wochen sind Upfronts bei Fox und es werden die Shows für 2012/13 bekannt gegeben. Im Moment scheint es für Goodwin Games gut auszusehen: Zum einen will Fox evtl. einen 2h Comedy-Block am Dienstag einführen, was Platz für zwei neue Comedy-Serien (neben New Girl und Raising Hope) lässt. Zum anderen scheint der Pilot recht gut angekommen zu sein:
